Does Facetime Notify Screen Recording? Does It Record Sound As Well?

No, Facetime does not notify you if you are being recorded during the Facetime call.

• Join the Facetime call via the link sent by the iOS caller > start the screen recording app > enable microphone > start recording.

On Windows PCs

If you are a Windows user, you are also allowed to join the Facetime call on the web via a link. But Apple also doesn’t offer any tool for you to screen record with the audio included. Try using a professional third-party screen recording tool.

1. Open the link sent by the iOS user > allow Facetime to use your camera and microphone > join.
2. Start iTop Screen Recorder > choose a region/window to record > enable Mic & Speaker.
