The direct answer is No.

Instagram had announced a new privacy feature to block screenshots and screen recordings of "view once" messages in October 2024. Users on older versions may take screenshots as well but the sender will be notified.

So, it is impossible to take screenshots on Instagram view once? Of course not. There are some workarounds telling you how to screenshot view once on Instagram successfully.

1. Use another device.

Screenshot a view once photo on Instagram with another phone/tablet or camera device. It is the most convenient way to save Instagram one time photo but the image quality may be undesirable.

2. Install a third-party screenshot app.
