How to Open and See View Once on WhatsApp Again?

WhatsApp introduces "view once" as a privacy feature letting users send photos, videos and voice messages that disappear permanently once the recipient has opened them. Users are not allowed to forward, save, star or share view once content. And, messages will be removed from chat if recipients won’t view them within 14 days.

Can you see view once on WhatsApp again? Theoretically, you can't. But there are still some ways enabling you to save the disappearing photos and videos.

How to See View Once on WhatsApp Again

1. Restore from backups: Enable chat backup before opening a view once message (must-be). Next, restore a recent chat history and view disappearing photos and videos from different chats again.
2. Use another device: Take a photo or video of view once media using a second device with camera while viewing.
3. Take a screenshot or screen recording: Use the native or third-party tool to make a digital copy of the view once photo/video.

Notice: WhatsApp blocks screenshot/screen recording of any receiving view once messages. Actually, you can try to capture the content and the sender will not be notified. However, you probably encounter black screen issues.
