The Easiest Way to Record Your PC Screen
I'm currently recording a game on Xbox, but I haven't found a way to record long enough, or even very long (only about 5 minutes). Does anyone have an alternative method?
Yes, you can record longer on Xbox. There are indeed several ways to make it, follow the steps below:
If you are a Windows 10/11 user, try the Xbox Game Bar, which supports screen recording with sound for more than 30 minutes.
Step 1. Press Win + G to open the Xbox Gamepad.
Step 2. Click the “Record” button or press Win + Alt + R to start recording.
Step 3. Click the “Stop” button to end the recording.
Another way to record longer on Xbox is to connect an external hard drive. This method allows you to record for over an hour, but it only works on the Xbox Series X and S. If you meet these requirements, follow the steps below:
Step 1. Insert the external hard drive into your Xbox X Series and S Series.
Step 2. Go to "Settings" > "Preferences" > "Capture and Share" > "Capture Location".
Step 3. Select the external drive and start recording your Xbox.
