Xbox Game Bar Can't Record on Windows 11

Fix 2. Use Registry Editor - Solution with Highest Success Rate

1. Search Registry Editor and launch it.

2. Go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameDVR

3. Find AppCatureEnabled. If you can't find it, right-click on the blank space > New > QWORD (64-bit) Value to create a new value and rename it as AppCatureEnabled.

4. Double-click AppCatureEnabled or Right-click it > Modify. Change the value data as 1.

Fix 3. Repair ieframe.dll File

1. Search Commnad Prompt. Right-click it > Run as administrator.

2. Type the following commands and press Enter after entering each one.

• sfc /scanfile=c:\windows\system32\ieframe.dll
• sfc /verifyfile=c:\windows\system32\ieframe.dll
• assoc
• sfc /scannow

3. Restart your computer and check whether Xbox Game Bar is working now.

Fix 4. Update or Reinstall GPU Driver

• Update: Search Device Manager and launch it. Go to Display adapters > right-click your GPU > Update driver.
• Reinstall: Search Device Manager and launch it. Go to Display adapters > right-click your GPU > Uninstall driver. Confirm the GPU manufacturer (Intel, AMD or Nvidia) and download a new driver from the website. Then, follow instructions to reinstall your GPU driver.
