Step 1. Visit pluto.tv in your browser. Play the show or watch a live TV channel on Pluto TV.

Step 2. Launch iTop Screen Recorder. Go to Record > Screen and select the recording area. Turn on Speaker to record shows with audio. Click REC button to start recording.

Tip: Some content on Pluto TV is DRM protected so that you may encounter black screen issue when recording. It is highly suggested to press CTRL+REC button simultaneously to screen record protected videos without black screen.

Step 3. On the mini control bar, click Done button to stop recording. The recorded video is listed in Files > Video. You can play or edit the video at will.

How to Record Pluto TV on Mac

QuickTime has the function to create screen recordings on Mac. As an included application for macOS, you can use it to record on Pluto TV without installation.

Step 1. Open QuickTime from the Applications folder and play a video on Pluto TV.

Step 2. Choose File > New Screen Recording from the menu bar.

Step 3. Click the arrow next to the Record button to choose a microphone for recording audio with the screen recording.

Step 4. Click Record button. Drag and select an area to record or click anywhere on the screen to record the entire screen.

Step 5. Click Stop button to stop recording. And then, QuickTime will automatically open the recorded file.

How to Record Pluto TV on iPhone/Android

Both iOS and Android devices feature a native screen recorder. Activate the screen recorder and record shows on Pluto TV in a straightforward way.

Step 1. Open Pluto TV on your device and play a movie or video.

Step 2. Swipe down from the top of your screen to access Control Center (iOS)/Quick Settings (Android).
