How to Download Audio from Google Translate as MP3 on PC and Mac

The developer tool has no path to download Google Translate audio for learning a new language. Are there other ways to download Google Translate audio?

Yes, there are 3 more ways to download Google Translate audio for learning a new language, though the browser’s developer tool doesn’t work anymore.

Way 1. Use an audio downloader extension.

  1. Go to the Chrome Web Store and search Chrome Audio Capture under the extension category.
  2. Add it and activate it.
  3. Play the translation audio and record it.
  4. Download the audio file to local storage.

Notice: The Google translation audio can only be downloaded as a WEBM file, and you have to convert it to MP3 if needed.

Way 2. Use an audio recorder.

Step 1. Select a free screen and audio recorder like iTop Screen Recorder. Download and launch it on a Windows PC.
